I keep dreaming I am in a verdant forest. colors so bright they almost seem to run together. I am on a slim stone aqueduct just wide enough to stand on sideways as if I were on a skate or surf board. water is running under my bare feet and I start to become carried away by the force of the stream. As I gain speed I find myself sightly afraid, but I am having fun at the same time, as if I were riding the best roller coaster on earth. The texture of the dream is vivid, unlike most of my dreams that have no real substance. the dream is so vivid, I can feel the roughness of the brick that makes up the aqueduct. I end my decent in a small lake splashing down from an extreme height. as I descend to the bottom of the lake I see statues under the water. these statues frighten me. I get the feeling that these statues were once people and they were turned to stone by the water I was now submerged in. I fight to keep from going any deeper and do my best to reverse my direction. As I break the surface I awake.
