Playing basketball and I’m shooting and can’t make a long shot cause in the gym I’m playing the ceiling is too low and I can’t get the proper arch and consequently the ball won’t go in cause it’s too flat .. Tell coach not my shooting ability it’s the ceiling. But then weirdly I say on the other end if the court the ceiling is higher I can make them in there .. Coach says good thinking shoot the 3point long shots over on that end and on this end pass it off to the other doods for the shorter layup shots etc.. Wow what the he’ll dies that mean???
I occasionally have a bball dream where I can’t make a shot. I miss passes and generally suck. I don’t hear any boos or feel the embarrassed, I just generally can’t play. I keep trying, and it seems my teammates can’t shoot either. But oddly, its not a problem, I never see a score board or feel we are losing or winning. I also never get winded. I can see how this might connect to working with others as that’s been a problem in my life. Maybe my other teammates missing shots means I can’t depend on them, as I feel this is the case in my waking life. But coincidently I can’t make a shot either, and im sure in many ways people can’t depend on me also. I remember playing bball in middle school and rarely making shots and always feeling out of my element and even while playing softball in my adult life one season, I was never the guy you could depend on to make a play, I never caught an outfield fly or made a big hit. Now as my career is up in the air, I sense it is indeed time to reach and out and work with others but I don’t know how or what to do with them.
I am playing basketball but we are not playing with a ball. It is clothing, towels, and just crazy things. When it is a ball it is a beach ball or a very light ball that is hard to dribble. In the beginning of the game I can’t make any shots or dribble because of the objects I am playing with but then I realize how to shoot the towels and etc in the goals. well i was shooting around i know how to shoot u know but in my dream i couldn’t make one 3 pointer or free throw and i kept gettin mad and the more mad i got the more the shot came up short. it was pissin me off lol… my dream was that of me just shooting around and not making one basket at all
