I had a dream that I was fixing a broken chair. There were two pieces missing from the back of it. On a table there was a bowl/large round plate, with various lengths of wooden pieces. I took time to gather the right sizes to slip them back into the chair. (I felt good about the task at hand).

This morning after I awoke, I came across some beautiful photos reflective of Rumi’s poetry and one of the photos that struck me was of a field of chairs – exactly the look of the chair in my dream. On one of the chairs was a man who looked very sad and melancholic. The quote for this particular photo from Rumi was, “Don’t grieve. Anything you lose comes round in another form.” I sensed there was a connection to helping me understand my dream as I, too, have been grieving a loss.
